I have been saving and cutting blue Jeans for quite some time, and finally decided it was time to make the quilt. I am going to do a rag quilt with these. Fronts will all be jean fabric, back will all be flannel. Right now I am planning to only use off white thread for the embroidery, and off white - cream - flannel for the backing. I could not find my spring loaded scissosrs, but have just purchased a new pair, so I am ready to go. I do not have plans for this quilt, but when my oldest son graduated from high school I gave him a quilt with "wise" sayings on it. It is one of his favorites, and who does not need a little down time to read wisdom? Okay, maybe not all wisdom. sometimes you need a joke too.
