In honor of Earth Day I spent the whole day sewing and I only used fabric that I had in my stash - so I would not have to send it to the landfill.  More

Finished quilting the lion. Straight lines on the face, swirls on the mane and “rays” coming out from the center on the gray. Binding is done with the orange. Now I just have to come up with a way to hang it, and it will be all done. Yeah!  More

I saw this pattern demoed on You Tube and love it, so had to try it. I am a big fan of bright colors. A great way to use up scraps. Now I need to come up with a pattern for quilting.   More
I picked out all this great fabric in pastel colors with flowers and small prints and even some metallic (to give it even more “bling”) but she just did not have any interest in it.   More
It is all quilted - I am sewing the binding on. Hope to have it ready for the fair.  More

A big decision is how to quilt after you get it on the machine. That is what is project is. This is the lap quilt, which is a trial run for the queen size quilt.  More
