Client did a great job of piecing and everyone who saw it really liked the color choices and placement. Almost a block of the month – just a couple extras. I really like the center medallion and how she had blocks go out into the first border. I quilted it with faux crosshatch. Great colors, wonderful pattern, it is a quilt that will be loved for decades.   More
Flying Geese – I am impressed! Flying geese are not my favorite thing to make – time consuming and picky, but my client did an excellent job! Straight rows and they all line up! I quilted with an arc to each point and put leaves in the sashing.   More
I really liked the way this turned out. Two separate "Army" pattern that came together so nicely. Minky on the back just makes it better.  More
Looks like soft water colors. Client did a very nice job on a panel quilt. Birch trees, birds and a pieced border. Give a nice calming effect. I quilted it with the classic orange peel. You can never go wrong with the orange peel.   More
Ride the road like a king - Motorcycle panel, so quilted it with a motorcycle pattern.   More
A block of the month. The client was very creative. She wanted the quilt to be a little bigger so she came up with a few more blocks and then she added a sashing with some personality. Wonderful job. I really like everything about this quilt. Gave me some ideas for focus fabric that I have picked up. The blocks are quilted with a "block" pattern, and the sashing and borders are quilted with a complementary pattern.   More
you know this fabric designer. We have all seen her line of fabric. I don't care what you do, you can not see the quilting on the top. I used variegated thread for the bottom and put in a Doodle design. That shows up very well on the back of the quilt.  More
I have always wanted to make a stretched star quilt, but never put it on the top of my list. This client did, and added small half square triangle border. I am really happy with how the quilting turned out.  More
Graduations, Birthdays and Christmas are some of the most popular times for T-shirt Quilts. This was made for a Soccer player and quilted with a soccer theme. Minky on the back really lets the pattern show and it is soft and cuddly.  More
Client brought in a Wall hanging and was not sure what she wanted. I am happy with the way it turned out. I did a stitch in the ditch for the star  More
It is hard to see in the picture, but there are small yellow crosses in the light blue fabric. Keeping that in mind I quilted this with doves. There is too much going on with the top, but they show up nicely on the backing. Nice pattern.  More
The grandma hand embroidered the little boy fishing. The Aunt made the blocks and assembled the quilt. I quilted it. Grandma wanted it to be 48” x 60”. The child will be able to use it for a long time. I quilted it with a pattern called Michael’s Plane. I had not used it before, and did not know if I would like it on this quilt but it was a wonderful choice – the aunt picked it out.   More
What a nice daughter-in-law. The girl made this quilt for her mother-in-law for a gift. The mother-in-law is a golfer, so quilted it with a golf theme. Putters, tees and club. Minky backing for that extra nice snuggle.  More
A very nice patriotic quilt. Stars and strips. Quilted with “Army Strong”. Backing has planes. I thought the client did an excellent job and loved the backing.   More
Christmas, but not too Christymasy  More
Another cute baby/toddler quilt.  More
There is a lot going on in this quilt. Flying geese, churn dash, pinwheels, tulips, leaves, friendship star and more.   More
Winning Hand. I like this pattern. Similar to card trick, but much less complicated.   More
Another quilt by the overachiever. The top of the quilt is Navy Blue birds with lighter half square triangles while the back is an additional pieced quilt.   More
The client did a great job fitting the blocks around the center panel. Backing is perfect – flying eagles. I quilted with this eagles and flag – a great go to for the patriotic quilts.  More
I really like this pattern! The client did a great job with color and placement. She told me it was all “scraps” out of her stash. Way to go!!!  More
A bright and happy quilt! Client wanted each block quilted with a feather pattern and then a matching border. Very nice quilt, and I like the way it all came together.  More
Wizards and Dragons and Magic spells. Harry Potter has it all. I quilted this one with a flying dragon. The client picked out some very interesting fabric.
