Longarm Rental and Classes

Beginner Longarm class

2 hour class – one on one
Coupon for $10 off your first rental – Rentals are $25/hr-2hr minimum

In this class you will learn how square up the backing (bring a rotary cutter), prepare top, load the machine, baste your quilt, fill a bobbin, free motion, use of pantographs, laser light, how to start and stop machine.

I will provide a practice “quilt” for the class.

Practice time for starts and stops. (3-4 stitches in place – Pull up bottom thread.) Loops, hearts, stars, meander. Try a pantograph. Mark on quilt with pounce.

The first two hours of rental after taking the class will be supervised. I strongly recommend that you rent a machine as soon as possible after finishing the class to help remember what you have learned.

To the rental session you will bring your own quilt tops. We sell backing and batting on the roll, which you may purchase or bring your own. A better quality product will give better results.

I will provide zippers for use during rental or they can be purchased for $75.00 with leader / $37 plain
