Freeborn County Blanket Drive
There are hundreds of patterns for "scrappy" quilts. As you can see, I a fond of the strip sets that are used for these quilts. The first one was assembled wrong. It was supposed to be assemble the same as the third quilt. I did not see the mistake until I had finished with the assembly. So now it is an opportunity for a variation. Kind of looks like an attic window. The second quilt is a variation of the fench rail. I like this pattern and how it turns out. Again, it is strips that are then sewn together and one side is turned. I really like the look of this pattern.
