Grandma’s Restoration. This is a project I will enjoy. The client’s grandmother had started this quilt. WHAT a project for her. She was using 2 inch squares of cardboard to measure and cut the pieces and then hand sewing them together. I believe the bulk of it came from clothing. My job is to finish it. Find the pieces to match – sew them on and complete the seam. She even brought the fabric that grandma had stored with the quilt. A seek and find for the matching fabric. Some of them were already cut and ready to sew on. I am super impressed with how flat this is considering the technique she used. Grandma had done a great job. I will post the finished project.
