A local girl made this quilt. The paper pieced Lion. I really like this pattern (I have made one also) The face is quilted with straight lines, the mane is quilted in swirls and the outside has “rays” quilted into it. I believe she is planning on bringing this one to the county fair. Good Luck.

As you can see by this pattern, the client is an overachiever. She always does such nice work and the patterns she picks out are so striking.

Not sure what I did to the camera to make it turn out this color. It is really made up of lovely blue/green batiks. This quilt is reversible (because the person who made it is an overachiever) She also made pillow shams to match. Dark and light – depending on what side you are using. Love her work. I quilted it in a faux cross-hatch.

This is a project I will enjoy. The client’s grandmother had started this quilt. WHAT a project for her.

Nebraska Fan. This quilt was made from Sweatshirts. The client did not have enough to make a quilt, so I made 6 blocks with the “N” in them. Making the quilt 60” x 75” – a good sized lap quilt. Quilted with meandering footballs. The client loved it. One of my favorite things is the hand pocket on the front of the sweatshirt is still there. Handwarmer? Place to keep you snacks? What would you use it for?

5 inch charm pack in bright colors. This just looks like a great juvenile quilt. The client wanted something that looks a little older for the quilting so I went the traditional Orange Peel.

What child does not like dinosaurs? This is a fantastic child’s quilt. Great colors. Just a very nice quilt. Client requested overall meandering. Great choice, as it does not distract from the quilt.

Bright colors. Love the colors, but she is brave! There is a great deal of white on this one.

A wonderful collection. A variety of activities this student participated in. She wanted her maiden name worked into the quilting. Sashing and corner stones to represent some of the school colors and flannel backing to make it warm. Great memories.

I really love the bright colors. This is made of 2.5” strips. Quilted with a triangle and the letter “Z” in the middle of the triangle. Great job and wonderful colors.

This has to be one of the nicest T-Shirt Quilts that I have quilted. The maker of this really did an outstanding job. She used different border fabric around each block. Footballs, basket balls, baseballs, Iowa State logos. Very nice job of assembly. I quilted it with a baseball bat, glove and ball.

Made with a jelly roll and yardage for the background fabric. I really like the pattern. I quilted it with a floral print that echoed pattern on some of the fabric.

These are a couple of quilts that I have done for 2017 graduates. It is a great way to preserve your memories, and you can still use it at the dorm or home. You still have time to have one made for your special graduate. Give me a call.

The panel is amazing! Just like a picture. Bordered with gray for gravel and black for dirt. Love the pinwheels she put in the corner! I quilted the center with a meander and put dump trucks and payloaders in the black boarders. Great quilt for a young man.

Clients quilt – very nice color combination and pattern. I quilted it with small flowers and a Florentine to reflect some of the patterns in the fabric

When my client brought this in I thought it was a Jelly Roll race, but when I took a better look I was wrong (don’t tell my husband I said that). The placement is great, colors really do a great job. This one I quilted with stars and stripes.

A Client has made this for a Nursing Student – to be given when she passes her boards. Fabric is perfect. Nurses hats, Band-Aids, Stethoscopes, heart-beat and wonderful sayings. She wanted the quilting to be the “heart beat” which you can also see in the border and on several of the blocks. A wonderful gift with great meaning.

This quilt was made for a young man who is due to come home this month. Made with a jelly roll. The quilting has alternating patterns. Both patterns have a star and what looks like the strips in a flag. The difference is one block will have the word Army in it and the next would have the word Strong in it. Very nice quilt made very a wonderful young man.
