Christmas Bed Runner. I had a hard time deciding how to quilt this. I did not want it to be too “Christmasy” as the fabric did not scream “Santa” It did have pine trees in the fabric, but that is kind of boring – so that was not good. One of the blocks has poinsettias in the fabric, so that is what I went with, Winter and Christmas for a longer season. The outside red and white boarder has poinsettias going across and down. The center three blocks have a larger Poinsettias pattern throughout. They do not show up a great deal as I used white thread so not to take away from the pattern.
